A BIRTHDAY TO DIE FOR
A psychological thriller by Frank Atchley

THE PLOT
Clinical psychologist, Dr. Paula Mitchell, must save her patient, Kae Carlson, from a satanic cult that believes she will be killed on her 26th birthday. The plot involves dissociative identity disorder (DID), past trauma, and a race against time as the cult's threats escalate, blending police procedural elements with a suspenseful narrative.

THE AUTHOR
Frank Atchley is a retired law enforcement officer with a distinguished career spanning decades of service. He spent twelve years as a homicide investigator before advancing to the role of investigative sergeant during the Green River serial murder investigation in King County, Washington.
This case became one of the most extensive serial murder investigations in U.S. history. Within Atchley’s jurisdiction alone, 48 women were murdered—making it the highest known victim count attributed to a single serial killer in the United States.
